IEDC Annual Conference: Virtual Dallas

Adam was one of the speakers at the International Economic Development Council’s annual conference in October 2020. Due to be convened in Dallas, Texas, the event was held in a virtual format due to Covid-19 related restrictions. With over 1,800 Economic Development practitioners attending the online conference, Adam’s presentation on “Success factors in youth employability support” provided delegates with a clear understanding of “what works?”. Also, a guide to how this could be applied to any community where young people with multiple barriers to finding work need a different approach. This has opened up dialogue with several contacts operating in the economic and workforce development arena across the globe.
